Skylight Studios is a video editing service that will take tapes from many video recording devices, VHS tapes, DVDs (digital versitile disk), VCDs (video CD), or a disk with your unedited video already imported (QuickTime format, please.) From there we use the award winning Final Cut Pro editing software, the same one used by professional movie makers across America, to make your video come out exactly how you want it.
Once we finish editing your movie(s), we can provide you with the final copy in many ways. The most common choice is on a DVD, using the professional encoding software, DVD Studio Pro 2. We can also provide you with VHS tapes, the tape format of your camera (MiniDV, etc.), or we can give you a disk with a QuickTime readable format that you can do anything you want with.
